I really like Kurt's pipes and have a few of my own. It was nice to meet him in person at the Chicago Show. He had some stunning pipes on hand. P, I try to buy every estate Balleby that I see as long as they're reasonably affordable. It's funny but Kurt's pipes don't bring a whole hulluva lot on the estate market.In my expeience they only retain about 40% of value after they're smoked. This is my sixth. Only two are blasts,the rest are smooths. I can say with complete conviction that the one I bought today is VERY undergraded! It's only a four and I've seen MANY fives without nearly as nice grain as this one displays!
