| My Altidis copy arrived Friday. I have smoked over a half dozen bowls and I really like it. What sucks is I have never had the real deal so I have no idea how it compares. It is a good smoke. It is smooth and rich with a good amount of nicotene. It has the meaty flavor described above and the latakia does have a charcoly note to it. To sum it up, this is a quality blend at an OTC price. |

| I have a single tin of this stashed away that I don't want to open...I guess I'll have to bite the bullet at some point. _________________ Events of the past, if not forgotten, are teachings about the future - Sima Qian

| Thanks for the review, Carlos. It makes me wish I had bought a tin when I could have... I do have two tins of 965, of which I have yet to try. I also have some EMP and Royal Yacht, but alas, no Nightcap. Oh well, I guess I'll survive... _________________ Many men fish their entire lives and never realize that it is not fish that they are after. -- Henry David Thoreau

| I, too, have one tin of Nightcap, just sitting there waiting to be opened. Every once in a while I'm tempted, but I wait...because I don't want to not have it. That doesn't make a damn bit of sense, I know, but...
I used to stock up on London Mixture, and now that it...and the other Dunnies are gone, I really hate to crack open that tin of Nightcap. I guess I'm hoping that the oft-mentioned re-release of Dunhill weeds will include Nightcap (and London Mixture).

| I absolutely adore Dunhill Nightcap!! As a matter of fact, it is the blend in the beginning that changed me from a cigar smoker who likes pipes, to a pipeman. And, its what got my pipe mentor, the late Sailorman Jack, to think that I had a tongue worth investing his tutelage. : )
My wonderful tobacconist (Roswitha at pipes and Pleasures in Columbus) says that she'll have Dunhill tins back on the shelves within the next year, as their US distribution has been picked up by CAO. I have only one tin in the ol cellar right now. So...I'll hold on to it, just in case she's mistaken. : ) |

Is there any further word on Nightcap being distributed by CAO?
I have a good fourteen tins (two logs, four seperate) of the weed, but that's a short supply thinking about potential decades in my life without Nightcap being available _________________ People who should be shot: Fascist thugs, religious fundamentalists, people who write lists telling you who should be shot.

| some one on here posted a email from CAO about their efforts to take over the distribution of the Dunhill line and it was dated in December some time so the drought might soon be over. | If that is true, I'm going to be a very happy man. Even moreso if they don't change the blend too much (if at all) *crosses fingers* _________________ People who should be shot: Fascist thugs, religious fundamentalists, people who write lists telling you who should be shot.
