Saturday I went 40 feet up the same tree I hunted last time ( when the derpy cow ruined the hunt). Herd of 10+ deer come through. Nailed a nice 150 lb doe in the heart from 20 yards. Shortest deer trail ever from an arrow at 30 feet. It barely made it to the ridge of the draw.

I scoped out a good spot surrounded by trees where deer consistently jump from the neighborhood onto one of the farms. It's in a deep hollow with a small pond. I found a nice pine went up about 40 feet so I was 15 feet above the ridge since my chosen tree was at the bottom. Just in case they did...
