| Just finished an after dinner smoke, and although straying a bit from the topic at hand, I mixed the Dunhill mixture and the 1Q in a one-to-one ratio and if I do say so myself a delectable smoke ensued. The richness of an english with the wonderful, refreshing burst of taste on the palate, the room note was pretty good too! Whether you think mixing tobaccos is faux pas or not, if you have these tobaccos on hand give it a whirl! |

| Those are really cool. Are you sure those are not putty fills. If you are not 100% happy I say send the pipe back. If you are anything like me, it would eat my ass every time I smoke it, then again thats just me. It will in now way affect the smoking qualities of the pipe so it would be your call as to what you decide.
Good luck and Good get there bro!! |

| Thanks Piet! And I lucked out, not a single fill on the whole exterior, just that tiny divot. I'm defiantly leaning toward sending it back, the only thing stopping me is the thought I may end up getting one with a fill. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. With that said is there any easy to do home remedy that may fill her in? Like a fresh coat of wax or something? |

| You're going to find sand pit or two (or seven) on nearly any smooth pipe if you look hard enough for them. If that;s the only cosmetic problem you have, you lucked out ! |

| Thanks guys! I'm really satisfied with the both of em and I haven't even had the chance to smoke em yet! As for the tiny pit on the Stanwell Could I fill it as any other furniture pit with some beeswax or carnuba wax? Or should I just suck it up and deal with it? I'v decided to keep it either way rather than deal with the hassle of mailing and more importantly the excruciating wait!! |
