I'd love to read the insurance claim report on that one. I wonder if the pilot of the C380 was texting…

That is one seriously large aircraft (the largest made), and the little Bombardier is a tiny 70 passenger short hop jet. It's like a semi colliding with a Smart car. Interestingly, the c380 may have gotten the worst end of the stick.

Scary stuff.

Both planes suffered pretty serious damage. Obviously, they will be out of service while NTSB conducts their investigation. The ComAir flight may not have pulled all the way to the hold position. If you watch the video, you can see the ground staff (aka Ramp Rats) run like hell. They are lucky that the wing tanks weren't compromised. That would have been "interesting" Suspect

I was thinking the same thing about the fuel tanks....
