Nice one H!

Has the same kind of vibe as the LAH pipe you posted a few weeks ago- even straight grain all the way up the bowl. Both are awesome!! cheers

Thank you sir!
The Camera belonged to my dad, who is an oddly contradictory fellow. He enjoys the some of the finer things in life, like German and Swedish cameras, Feinwerkbau air guns, Italian cars, all while wearing the most derelict 30 year old pairs of shoes that have been patched up repeatedly with shoe glue. If he were a pipe smoker, I'd imagine him smoking Captain Black in a Sixten I.

Beautiful Barbi! I like your photograohy and the Rollei is as beautiful as the pipe.

The pipe reminds me of a Barbi-Pipe I recently saw here in Berlin. It was one of Rainer Barbis early pieces, a really nice one indeed, unfortunately too big for me, and its mouthpiece a little bit loose in the stem, but nothing that couldn´t be fixed easily. Maybe I should give it a try.

Do you know how old this nice one actually is?

Thank you very much! I really appreciate your comments.
As for the age of the pipe, I really can't say, although my guess would be that it is possibly twenty years old, or older. I'm basing that guess on the age of other pipes in a collection that was being sold by a dealer earlier this year. This dealer had a quite a few Danish and German pipes that all appeared to be from the 1980's and 1990's.

Thanks Hobie!
As far as the count...I think it's north of 50, south of 100. You may be seeing me by a freeway off ramp soon, glumly holding a cardboard sign...

Harlock I would love to send you all my pipes and have you photograph them all, you always have great pics of pipes, very professional in my opinion.

Pipe photography turned out to be an unexpected hobby, and one that I really enjoy. I went through a spell recently where I had a cold that I just couldn't shake. It went on for a few months, and during that time I really didn't feel like smoking much, so I occupied myself by photographing my pipes.
Thanks again, I'm glad you like the pics!

Thanks for your answer, that would be exactly the age I would have suspected, comparing the workmanship with other Barbi-Pipes I´ve seen.
