The big question still not answered is should people who know they are going to die be forced to suffer before doing so.

A lot of people have answered it, of course it's people who don't have any business answering the question. Kinda like men making laws that only concern women.

I heard his last interview this afternoon on XM. Ron Bennington from "Ron & Fez" interviewed him almost a year to the day before his death. Pretty interesting. I'll have to check out HBO movie and perhaps the documentary.

I think he fought the good fight for our rights.

Bummer, wonīt let me view it in Mexico.... "rights restrictions". Evil or Very Mad

A physician colleague of my dadīs dedicated himself fulltime to hospice work after his retirement. I think quality of death as opposed to misery in life is an issue most physicians are aware of. Hippocratic Oath can prolong that misery in some cases unfortunately. I think thatīs why my dadīs colleage chose to do what he does now.

Dr. Kevorkian fought the fight to allow people to die with dignity. Instead, people with personal, or fake moralistic agendas villainized him to the point where his last name has almost become a verb for doctors who kill.

If I ever get to the point where I'm so ill that death would be a relief, I'd want the option for doctor assisted suicide, or death with dignity.

It's sad how badly this man was hounded and brutalized by the law, so to speak.

Rest in Peace, Dr. K.
