This looks like something I would do; which is why it's probably good that I don't have kids!

(Ok -- the onion was a bit too far, even for me, but some of those kids are pretty spoiled)

Why back in MY day I'd have been happy to get the wrapping paper. We got only one present,,,I would get a candle and my brother a match, and you hoped to hell the match lit or there was going to be no heat in our bedroom for the winter.

We lived on warm water and pencil shavings and if santa had brought us half a PB&J or a potato we'd woulda thought we'd gone to heaven. We'd have worn down our feet up to the knees from dancing.

Why I remember one year for x-mas dinner we had goose feet with rat turd sauce, but that was the year dad found work. Yeah, we were spoiled.
