| Yes, Brothers - this officially sucks!
Went to bed Sunday night with a slight Fever and by Monday afternoon it was 101 F. Wife took me to the doctor Tuesday morning (fever now at 102 F.) and sure enough. Keep in mind that I hate going to the doctor, but I knew by the way I felt that something was really wrong so I didn't argue. Not to mention the usual Flu symptoms - sore throat, runny nose, diarrhea, nausea, but never did throw up - Thank God. This is one bad-ass bug, Brothers!
Ended up being prescribed TamiFlu and given some liquid crap at the doc's office to help the Fever - and they both seem to be working.
Spent the rest of Tuesday and most of Yesterday in bed (literally) and just now this morning felt like really getting up and moving around. Got up some yesterday afternoon, I think I even got in here for a few minutes but not long. Fever is down to 99.4 F and feeling a little better this morning. Mostly i'm just tired of lying down and sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Still very weak and sore all over, but I think i'll make it. Needless to say, haven't had a bowl of tobacco since the weekend.

| Thanks, Brothers. It's going to be a slow recovery, judging by the way I feel - but it is getting better.
Hunter - other side of the State, just south of St. Louis - but you can't be too careful. Mark - no worries about gettin frisky - wife is scared to death of getting it... Harlock - mine was 102.4 at the highest - definitely not fun!
Thanks also Dr T and Cigar2you. I'd rather take a beating than go through this again.

Thank you, Pipegeek. Feeling better and getting around more today, that's for sure. Still weak and a little sore all over, but not tiring out as easy when I do get up and start moving around. |

| Seems like something has been going around. A few people at work are down with it. I began sneezing and runny nose today. Allergies maybe, but I might just be somatizing it too.... |
