| While on a trip to a local B&M to purchase a new matte black Zippo pipe lighter I found a cool little pipe tool. It's a carabiner with fold away tamper, scraper, and scissors. All metal except for a heavy coating of some kind of paint or epoxy coating...on the sides of main panel. It's maybe two inches long and has Gecko images on one side. It cost me $4.
Yeah, yeah, I know...PHOTOS! I'll see what I can do.
BTW: even though the 'clerk' told me they didn't have any Zippo pipe lighters I foound them in about two minutes and go tjust the one I wanted. |

| I've got one of these. Picked it up at a gas station for $4.00. I use it when walking in the woods or fishing. Clip it to my belt and don't worry about it falling out of a pocket. Mine is black with black salamanders on a brown background.

| monbla - you need to adjust your screen temp. That's RED bro. FIRE ENGINE RED!
The place I found 'em they also had a Gecko Green color. I guess that's why I thought they were Geckos instead of Salamanders. Either way...even though they're like totally, totally cheap...they're cool.
Special Note:
I even did a search with the help of some of the links you other guys found, got the site of the manufacturer, and made an inquirey about ordering a small number with "BoB" printed on them - so that site members here could buy them if they wanted to. An 'official' BoB pipe tool! Might work out...might not. If it does turn out to be potentially workable - I'll be announcing them and possibly asking for 'partners' so that the up front cost can be spread out a bit from just my wallet. We'll see.

| After an email to the manufacturer I've surprisingly gotten a response already!
If you think $4 is cheap get a load of this: they will sell them to us for $0.83 each. For a one color logo...add $0.03 each. For laser ingraving add $0.06 each. So we could get them done with the BoB logo thing on one side for about eighty six cents apiece! Cool!
Oops! One catch. Minimum order is 4,000 units.
Dang! Well, it was worth a shot. |
