On a serious note - the package (Bomb) has been sent and is on it's way. The damn Postal Worker wouldn't let me use my victim's address as the return address. Oh well, can't win 'em all. Payback is gonna be a Bitch someday...

On a side note, my fingers still smell like Tequila and Nyquil from loading a couple oz. of that 'Special Blend' in a bag for the victim. Twisted Evil

Yeah, but how many smokes also take care of the common cold at the same time?

Bomb's away from this location!

I was thinking about it while I was waiting at the post office... does this make us pipe-bombers?

Now that's a nice Bomb Rack!

Here's another! Seems like a good match for our current mission!

What? A misleading advertisement? Why Dr. T! How could you even suggest such a thing? With our 'Truth In Advertising' Laws being as strict as they are and the way these Federal Laws are enforced, if the product says it then it's has to be true! Rolling Eyes

Well, if your turn over pops up, you may find out if those claims are true! Twisted Evil

True -- all we know is who we sent to; we won't know if that's the primary target or if we are until the second package arrives at the primary. Shocked Or who knows, Blackhorse might have mixed up all the names, and we'll be involved in Mutually Assured Destruction! bom

Yes! Precision-timed random-location bombings across the board. What better way to cause sheer panic and widespread destruction across such a large and diverse area!

Post on the Sick Call Board:

Dreadgerbil has been run down by a crazed motorist while riding his bicycle...likely a spy of some kind trying to thwart our mission...and is on the mend. He's fine (hope the rash isn't too extensive) and will be A-OK...but wanted us to know he will be able to get his payload out, but will hit the target as a 'follow-up' rather than the day named for the strike.

I informed him, with my usual level of care and concern for the troops, that he was a slacker and a goldbrick and didn't deserve to drink at the same bar with the rest of us...and that I expected him back on duty within 24 hours...with a note from his Physician. lol

Seriously...we all obviously wish him a speedy recovery and return to normal duty.

On a happier note:

What do you all think of a little 'insider contest' - just the squadron members?

I enjoyed, in my twisted fashion, the vintage 'tail art' (i.e. pin up) style bomber themed illustrations that were posted here. If anyone other than I knows how to use google (and sometimes I honestly wonder) they are not all that hard to find. I'd like to propose that any and all that want to...find an appropriate tail art illustration and post it here...then we can all vote on a winner...prize to be sent out at the time of the next mission...provided by yours truely.

The winner will then become the official tail art (hopefully 'gal') of the squadron...and if anyone is good with 'MS Paint' or whatever...we might even impose on them to adjust the illustration to carry our own monicker.

Patches, caps, coasters, golf towels, etc. to follow! Just don't try to wear it while checking through Homeland Stupidity at the airport!

The payload I am supposed to deliver is going out just shy of mach 1 (as the flight path overflies several civilian areas)*.

BH, am in on the graphic design front. Will be working up an idea over the weekend/early next week.

BoB Bombers
Skies of Thunder
(applicable artwork)

check.

*edit: anonymity was not possible - included a note to further demoralize the target.
