Scrap Project Empty
PostSubject: Scrap Project   Scrap Project EmptyMon Apr 23, 2012 4:13 pm

There's not much I like more than turning a chunk of nothing into something cool (well, sometimes they end up by being cool anyway).

Here's a sliver of damascus steel I 'whittled' into a form that fits the fingers very well, then holed it for a chain lanyard, added a deeply frosted clear glass ball and put the whole thing together with a small knob of Macassar Ebony and Green Mystery Wood that has a very, very strong neodymium magnet epoxied inside. It will adhere very well to any ferrous metal...a nail pounded in the wall, the chain, whatever. Just a little sumpin' sumpin' to keep me going.

It's tamper art, then? I like it! I also like repurposing extra stuff into cool stuff.

Cool
