Thought I'd join in the conversations. I'm a long time pipe smoker and collector of both pipes and tobaccos. I hope to learn from others and perhaps put in my two cents worth when so moved. I enjoy a wide variety of tobaccos (except most aromatics) and have a very large collection of pipes.

Welcome, JR. I like your subject line, with the "lower-slower". Being born in the UP (upper peninsula of Michigan), we were also described as being "slower", but I think they were referring to our limited gene pool?!? Laughing
