| They are nasty critters. Absolutely nasty. I have family in Tucson and I hear tales of dogs getting killed within minutes of stirring up a swarm or hive. Apparently their honey is awesome--if you survive to get to it. It gets far too cold for them to really be a threat here in northern Nevada, but the problem is them interbreeding with the native bees and adapting. No thank you. |
