Ok, maybe I'm totally lying and that's really a mini cob.

That Bulleit is deceptively smooth, especially for a rye--pairs well with quite a few of those tobacks, I assure you! Kudos to the brother who sent it your way--a gentleman of distinction, no question!

Having a whiskey sour before bed makes you a delinquent? I enjoy my liquor, but I'm no lush... Another quality that makes me different than my generation.

GMF, while I (and probably countless others) are under the same idea that you're probably mature enough to handle a drink, you're on your own for such things, I'm afraid. Such is the way of life, none of us are going to wag our fingers, but we're certainly not going to contribute. Also, this is a public forum--one wrong sniff of illegal activity and it could spell problems...never know who is watching. Sorry to get all serious. Razz

Hey, I'm the first one to question the notion of "being old enough to choose to die for your country but you can't have a drink" philosophy.

Cool

Well then we shouldn't be mailing fireworks out either. Certainly that's a no-no.

I just got off work and logged on. Been thinking about that all day. While I certainly enjoy getting them, and give a good manly shoulder punch to the unnamed brother who thought to actually send live ordinance on a bombing run, the little wise man's voice in my head that likes to remind me of consequence is telling me to mention it's a Bad Idea to do that. I know he sent them FedEx rather than USPS; I don't know what their rules are about such things. However, they ARE illegal in my state. Granted, it's technically unlawful for me to receive un-taxed tobacco, but once we've stepped up to things that go bang, it's a different rule book. In short, thank you. I love them. Don't do it again. Very Happy

Meanwhile, the young man's voice in my head is saying, "Firecrackers +spear gun +rye whiskey = a really fun weekend coming up. The Evil Squirrel better hide!"

Woohoo the mission was a success. Unfortunately my little bombs from over here can't happen any more since I moved FOB's and this one has no outgoing mail, letter or package. Sorry it took so long to respond, we have been without power and therefore air conditioning the last few days so this is my first chance I have had to hop on here and see the carnage.

Zach....NO BOOZE FOR YOU

George....Fire crackers, spear gun, booze, and corn cobs.......watch out neighbor kid....or wildlife.

I will get caught up on the rest of the happenings around the forum tonight. Congrats to you both brothers you both are very deserving of the bombs, especially the one from GK's cat lol.

But then that was more than a few years ago.

Oh my gosh... I have had to re-organize like 10 times. The only problem my laptop broke, so I gotta new one from a friend, and it won't accept my SD card on my camera? Any suggestions? It sees it, but won't let me get pictures off of it... as soon as I can, I'll get the pictures up of the corner and my other bombs...

See some of the shipping FAQs mid-page:

http://www.usfireworks.biz/faq.htm

I was an Under-Paid Slave (UPS) for a while, and worked in trucking/logistics. Parcel/mailing of fireworks is a no-no. Can they tell? Probably not. If something catches fire and gets back to you, though, watch out. Or if someone opens the package (or it breaks open during handling) and it has boomers inside. You can get sued by them for everything from endangering equipment, personnel to being responsible for damage, if any. This is why the USPS asks you their little spiel about "fragile, hazardous or perishable" and you probably noticed the postings on at the FedEx/UPS office about dangerous goods. By printing and signing the paperwork to be processed through the system, if something happens, it's your arse.

Two things:

1) Happy Birthday Major Palpatine! May happy returns to a great guy.

2) The rest of you slackers...get on over to Growleys post about his new website and sign up for the FREE PIPE that he's giving away.

No...I won't give you a link...find it yourself. If you can't think of any other way to do it, go to his profile and check out his posts.

So now you can't say I never did nuthin for ya!

Zach, could the memory card have gotten locked? Check for the little sliding lock on the side and see if it did.
