Here is a Pot I just finished. I can't find the piece of paper I wrote the measurements on (I'm a blonde...I'll find it 3 weeks from now in my daughter's doll house, I'm sure.) The stem is vulcanite.

It rained here all weekend, so the pictures are a little dark. I gotta retake them this afternoon.

Thanks for looking.

Scottie

Very Nice!
While I prefer mostly bent stems, this is one straight stem pipe that I really like.

Congrats! cheers

The pipe looks awesome!!! If the pictures were too bright you would wash out the rich colors of the pipe.

When I saw the title, I thought this thread was headed to the rubber room. geek

I was on my way home from the grocery store and had the same thought Laughing I do enjoy a good "off topic" post, though.

It's cute. Smile I still say there's a soft, personal approach to your pipes, and they're finished with a level of detail I sure as heck haven't mastered. Laughing

Your stems have a unique stance, I've noticed. On this pipe, the "pinched" area that goes from vertical to horizontal to match the flare to the button works very well. It looks like a standard taper from the side, but look at it from the top (or from the view of the smoker) and it reveals some whimsy. Two thumbs-up.

Cool

You NAILED IT !! In my mind, to get a classic shape such as a Pot done well as you have done speaks far more to your ability than any freehand would ! And the twist you put on that saddle bit was a really nice touch. It ALL works well Razz

Another darn fine pipe Scottie, you are making some awesome pipes. I do like how the stem is side-saddled.
