PostSubject: Some TRUE brothers   Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:36 pm

On Thursday and Friday of last week I recieved a small package in each day's mail that I had not ordered. The first was from Kaiser and contained a 50g tin of Stanell's Melange, a MM Original cob and one of those really fancy SS w/ wood slab sides pipe tamper/tool !!! The next was from Rob_N_Misu whos sent a 50g tin of Dans Milonga,a MMOriginal Cob and a pckt. of Long's clnrs. This was so "from out there" that I really did not know what to say Razz These are two Aro's which I have wanted to try but were not in my current fixed income budget to buy! And I was not planning to but any more pipes, whether Cobs or Briars. And the pipe tool is just SOOOOO nice !! ( I've only used it twice as it is just TOOO nice to get ashes on Razz so I am still using my old Peterson pipe nail I've had all these years!) I've smoked BOTH "bacs in the Cobs sent me and find both to be nice, nice reall tobacco type of Aro's of which I find the Milonga being my prefered. They both WILL BITE as they are Va based blends if smoked to hard with the Milonga being the smoothest of the two!
These WONDERFUL giftd makes me realize just what a wonderful bunch of folks we have here and I just want to say a public THANK YOU to their generousity! We really ARE brothers Razz cheers

Huh?

What?

Really?

How did I get drug into this?

Glad you like the Tobacco and the Cob, Monbla.

We all appreciate the wealth of knowledge and experience you bring to the Brotherhood, and this was my way of saying 'Thank You' in a Brotherly fashion. After receiving that King Erik Acorn, I felt it my duty to Pay It Forward. I guess you were in the right place at the right time.

Cool

You are more than welcome brother. Your posts have improved my ability in pipe smoking ten fold so it is just a thanks, besides it was Robs idea so blame him. I'm glad you are enjoying them, you always have Oriental 14 to fall back on lol. And beat the heck out of that pipe tool Sir.
