A Couple of Recent Pipes Empty
PostSubject: A Couple of Recent Pipes   A Couple of Recent Pipes EmptySun Sep 23, 2012 6:38 pm

I just wanted to post pictures of a couple of recent pipes I have completed.

The first is a Dublin Churchwarden with a Cumberland stem and a Silver band:

And the second is a Rhodesian that I did for a gentleman who's son has been deployed to Qatar.
He asked me to make a pipe for his son and have his deployment location and company laser etched on the shank. We picked a Desert Camo for the stem to go with the deployment theme.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking pipes!

I think you have made a father and a son happy with that Rhodesian!

Right handsome Rhody right there bro. Good work, and I like the stem theme.

Cheers,

RR

Very cool...Todd, you are starting to develop a "bowl style" that I can recognize now, in regard to Rhodesian/bulldog lines.

I like the old IMCO lighter, too...just discovered those myself, I have a Junior and Triplex (courtesy my buddy James).

Cool

Those are both very unique and very cool. I don't think I've ever seen a churchwarden with a cumberland stem. That must have been hell to drill. Very good job.

Actually, the drilling was fairly easy, the tough part was turning the rod stock down that thin. It kept wanting to bend.

Thanks for the comments guys. Very Happy

Very fine, Todd. I really dig the rhody (the pipe and the sentiment involved) - nicely done!

I'd like to add that I'm a faithful customer to Mr. Harris' work, and his pipes perform well enough I now compare other pipes to his. They always come out in the top ranks. They've also sadly made some of my $10 estate purchases pale in comparison, but now I know the difference, and his pipes are very reasonably priced...and that briar? Sweet as could be. Cool
