The Mussolini one is one of the coolest pics I've seen in ages. If I had to guess, I would have said it was a still from some dystopic black-and-white era sci-fi movie I really need to see.

I liked the Tesla/Twain pic the best. Very Happy Two of my favorite people in history.

The pictures made the site a bugger, though--bogged down my computer somethin' fierce.

Cool

do you mean the surrounding links and pictures, or the picture thread itself? If the adverts / link pictures are causing people problems its not that hard for me to copy out the links and post just the pictures on a thread here, but I didn't know it was causing people problems - but if its the thread itself it'd be as bad posted here as it is there.

I think just the sheer amount of pictures gummed up the memory works...there was a lot of stuff in there! I saw them all, slowly but surely. Laughing

It does look like the lair of a movie or comic book super villain. Twisted Evil

...some great pics...What a time and place for most of them...the picture of the death camp sends the same erie feeling I had standing outside those gates in 1976 while on business in Germany...as humanity we've come far...just not far enough... Question
