Here's some of my pipes. I'm sorry for the crappy pics, my hands are shaking today and the wife is not here to take better ones. So, anyway, here they are. Laughing

First is a Stanwell HCA II churchwarden that I was lucky enough to find listed on Smokingpipes.com the other day.

The next two are a couple of Edwards pipes I bought from Zeno Marx...

Here's a big Sav 320... excellent smoker, that one.

A Boswell fishing pipe... I gotta get to the river soon!

A "The Pipe" that I picked up from Mattia. I probably will never smoke it, I just wanted one for my collection.

OK, this picture really sucks... but it's two Sebastian Beo pipes, a rusticated Rhodesian and a smooth bulldog.

Next are a couple of Bjarne Vikings...

A Grabow Starfire and a white Kaywoodie... I've not smoked either one of them.

Some custom grade MMs

And finally a little Tsuge...

Some nice pipes! I really like the Stanwell. Those HCAs are excellent versatile pipes!

Thank you for the comments. I'm really enjoying my collection this go-around... I'm much more serious about it now. I'm finding pipe smoking to be very relaxing and enjoyable.

Great selection right there Jack. A couple of those really appeal to me, including and especially the Tevere 320. Fine piece of briar. Got me a Sistina 320 and love it, although the Tevere you have also sings to me. Might have to pick one up as a "sister" pipe.

Cheers,

RR

Very nice, that Sav 320 sets off all my bells!

I love that Hamms figure as well. Back in the early 80's, a case of Hamms was around $10 or so. We loaded up to go on vacation (two other couples). We took 8 cases and drank it all. For every two cases, you got a free "I'm a Hamms Heavy Hitter" t-shirt. I wore that shirt for two decades before it finally crumbled to pieces and the wife made me pitch it.......

Hah! My late pap drank Hamm's. Always remember him asking me to go down to the basement fridge where he kept his beer and get him a can. I'd open it on the way up the stairs and take a quick sip. He'd look at me and say "you took a schlurp, didn't you"? And then grin at me. I was probably 10 at the time.

Laughing

Back in the '60s Hamm's had a sort of cartoon add with bears in a canoe singing about the "... land of clear blue waters" . It was more expensive than the Lone Star my father drank and was the first beer I saw in a can ! I don't drink, is it still made ? Razz

Looks like your collection is springing back from the recent setbacks quite nicely, Simple Man. Shocked

Thanks for all of the comments gents. It's been fun to put my collection together again. I can say, so far out of the pipes I smoke, there's only one I am not crazy about, and that is the Tsuge. It's a little better now that I took the stinger out, so we'll see...

Monbla, they quit making Hamm's. I hate that! Hamm's was my favorite. I think it was my favorite because it was my Grandpa's favorite and well, you know...I always tried to emulate my Grandpa, Dad and Uncles... Grandpa was also the pipe smoker. Very Happy

The fisherman and sailboat are cool, but they aren't that old. They are made by Jim Shore. If you google Jim Shore or Heartwood Creek, you probably can find them for sale... I know they probably come up on ebay quite a bit. I have a few pieces of this nautical collection of his.

I bought the set on Ebay about a year ago... I'm thinking I got the whole set for like $50, which is not that much considering the number of pipes in the set. I haven't used them yet, I guess I'm going to have to get around to it. I have several cobs right now though that I use regularly.

LOL I pretty much stay away from there nowadays. Only time I check out ebay is when I just can't find what I'm looking for anywhere else or I know it can be found significantly cheaper than what I'm finding. I also don't shop in any of the "big box" stores... I guess I'm just fortunate that at this point in my life I don't feel the need for much new stuff anymore. Very Happy

Edwards Poker, my fave, followed the Tsuge... What's the deal with those cobs, now? They're super flashy.

Cool
