Hard to tell what the other threatened piece is from the angle of the board, but it could go either way at that point.

Real people still play chess??? Man, I wish I had someone to play some chess with over a good pipe. My best friend and I used to hit up a Dunkin Donuts at night and play until about 2:00 am.

In fact, I specifically remember him shoving all the pieces on the floor when I beat him. It was a good thing I wasn't using my marble set at the time.

That or Risk. I love a good game of Risk.

Cribbage man myself... though a game of Risk can be quite fun. In the Navy, we used to leave a board set up mid-game for days. Work and watch always got in the way.

Chess is a game I would really like to be good at, but I would really need someone knowledgeable to teach me. As it is, I get beat by everyone. Laughing
