"Vt. Meat Candy combines two great flavors - maple and bacon. We start with a Cavendish that's been given a deep, sweet maple flavor and then we added dark Burley that's been fire-cured with hickory wood, which delivers the flavor and aroma of hardwood-smoked bacon. Just think about those Sunday mornings when you'd dip your bacon into the syrup from your pancakes and fell in love with the sweet, smoky and salty flavor. Now you can have that flavor without the calories or cholesterol with Vt. Meat Candy"

I wish they'd just sell this but you can only get it in their stupid sets.

Bacon everywhere has got to be tried. It failed in snuff already (IMO). I will try it in pipe tobacco in a heartbeat. If it sucks, not skin off my back, I'd only grab 2oz to start with anyhow.

Here's the response from Russ: "I'm easy. If people want it badly enough, I'll make it available for sale separately. Let me talk to our marketing people, and I'll know whether we'll move forward within the next few days." I don't know why but I'm strangely wanting this bacco now. alien

Vermont Meat Candy was made for the gift set to go along with the theme of the set. The flavoring is maple with some hickory smoke. It was meant as a novelty, but I'm always willing to custom-make tobaccos or add something to the regular product line if there's enough demand. I've smoked a few ounces of the blend and actually enjoyed it for an occasional change of pace.
I missed why TonyS is boycotting us. Drop me an email; I might be able to help.

Heck, if this becomes available, not only will I buy a few ounces for myself, I'd buy a few ounces and cob for a vehement anti-pipe, cigar smoker I know.

I'm not a huge aromatic fan, but do smoke them sometimes to please the wife, but ONLY in cobs. Just my little neurosis.
