I just finished this last night and I'm pretty sure it has been spoken for. The bowl is .750 dia and just shy of 2 inches deep, adorned with spalted maple, and a hand cut Italian Lucite, "Burning Embers" stem, fitting perfectly into a delrin sleeve. As you can see, there was no room for error with drilling and shaping the shank Very Happy

Thanks Simpleman, Rev, David, Steveaux, and Kyle! I'm not either, but something made me think this one would jive. It's the shank being paneled, and the "S" curve that makes it work.

My favorite part of it is the slight forward-cant to the bowl, and the panels crescendo-ing from bottom to top. There's a lot of "jive" in it. My only hesitation if I were confronted with buying it is the chamber height... just more into smaller capacity. It'd ruin the general flair of the pipe in any other configuration. A smaller bowl/chamber in that style would suggest a slightly less of a bend to offset the flow properly, as well as a somewhat skinner shank, but achieve the same result, but that's me wishfully thinking. Laughing Don't mind me.

That is a fantastic pipe! I immediately thought of the "Madhatter" from Alice in wonderland.

I live the shape and how it carries through the shank. The stem is incredible.

Congrats brother - definitely something to be proud of!
