The brandy is a darn nice shape and very impressive. Shank on the plateau was a little thick for my taste but still darn nice. I dig em brother, congrats and good job.

Good, I wasn't the only one that thought that about the plateaux. I found the other thread first, though. Laughing

yeah, I was trying to flair from thin to thicker. I kept having to take more and more off of the stem end to deal with the weird angle of the plateaux. I guess I should have just went even thinner at the stummel, but I was getting scared of hitting the airhole, (not in a position to take chances right not) Over all though the guy wanted a big chunky pipe, and I am pretty sure he will be happy with that, I do think I will make a new stem though

Apparently I overbent the stem on the brandy too, but I cant undo that as the pipe is already in Australia

I liked the bend of the brandy. So long as it would pass a cleaner still it looked good man.

The overbend in the brandy stem is negligible. The slight cant forward to the bowl makes up for it by quite a bit... I mean, with the stem, we're talking a few degrees of perfection... it's 98% perfect. Smile

If that guy in Oz doesn't like it, give him my address. Laughing
