Well, here is my very first churchwarden. I've sold this one to a friend.

The stem is handcut. The insert is zebrawood. This was the first time I have tried an insert. Cool effect, but I need to work on perfecting my method.

Let me know what you guys think.

Very cool Ocelot.

I'm not into Churchies in general, but would reconsider on this one.

Well done!

cheers

Cheers,

RR

I like that a lot. The insert is a very nice touch. I like the grain on the pipe. Your stain really makes it pop!

Excellent, finally, a Churchwarden with a decent stem, I hate that most Churchwardens have skinny and fragile stems, that stem looks like a real winner, love the insert and the stummel grain and stain look marvellous, your friend must be very pleased. Smile

Nice job, the grain, insert & stem all seem to just fit the flow of the pipe. Lucky friend.
