The only thing better than posing a pipe on a wood pile, is using a gun as a prop. Been meaning to do this for years. And now your thread has motivated me. My pipes are mainly English. And I've got a really nice British Webley Mk IV .38/200 Service Revolver. Love to pose it with my Dunhills & Comoys. Nice pipe there. And nice composition.

I don't recognize the mark on that 1911-- what maker is it? Very handsome.

I dig a spigot. Someday I'll have one. That one is mighty fine.

I'm sure you'll get a bang out of it. (I know; just ignore that. )

Nice carry piece. I've been looking at the XDS. My heavy slide National Match just isn't the carry type. I have LOTS of .45 ammo. But, I'm more in getting rid of than buying. Guns that haven't been shot in years deserve better.

Ahh, Wilson... thanks for the info. That's one I've never seen in a store, but have certainly read about. I have some Wilson parts on a race gun, but it's a plain ol' Springfield.
