I have a pretty much cake inside of bowl. What you suggest, guys, is sandpaper 240 grit enough to remove cake or Senior Pipe Reamer? Fairly, I'm little scared go with SP reamer in meerschaum bowl.

Thank you for answers!

I've used my "Reem-n-Klean" reamer which is similar to yours for many, many years now and have never had any problems. I don't go at it all hell bent for leather just easy, easy and if the cake is kept at the same thickness, after a while it just becomes an easy , quick twist and it's done! Razz

I've come to prefer using a Rodgers pipe knife for my reaming - works like a charm on briar and meerschaum.
