Hey everyone. Just finished my third pipe. I decided to put a little stain on this one. Wasn't sure how I would like that but it turned out pretty nice.

Still need to figure out how to take better pictures. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day.

What kind of stain did you use? The term stain is frightening to me with smoking pipes. Maybe one of the pipe makers can remind me why that term scares me a little. But the pipe looks darn good brother, congrats and keep up the good work.

Hey kaiser83, I used an alcohol based stain purchased from a pipe making supplier, www.pimopipecraft.com. No need to worry about bad fumes or catching fire. Thanks for the compliment. I'm really loving this new hobby. And everyone on this forum is encouraging. Hopefully I'll get started on another soon.
