Valentine's Date Night Empty
PostSubject: Valentine's Date Night   Valentine's Date Night EmptySat Feb 16, 2013 1:29 am

Due to being called into work, we had to celebrate Valentine's day a day late. We did a nice dinner and a comedy show. Just because my wife is so cool, she suggested we head out to the local Billiard Club (bar) for a pre-dinner drinks and a pipe for me. I got a chance to load up my new pipe from Andrew Staples with some McClelland's Bombay Court.

It was fun night and chance to dress up and let loose. So did any of you do anything special for Valentine's Day?

I had to laugh a little (in a good way), both of you gussied up, DP, but she's a doll--she knows how to pull off "classic!" Both of you together is just too cloylingly sweet. I love you Valentine's day is a bit of a farce, but y'all did it right. Smile

I took my wife and the two other women in my life (my daughters) to dinner.

I dressed up. I wore a shirt with a collar with my jeans instead of my usual t-shirt Laughing

Looks like you had a great time! My wife worked and I helped the kids get their homework together.

After my wife came home, we talked over a glass of wine (her) and bourbon (me).

Looks like you guys really know how to do it up!

It wasn't planned but Valentines day worked out quite nicely for us, too, this year. It fell on our last day in the Bahamas, our friends (who traveled with us and have a daughter six weeks younger than my son) took the little man so the wife and I could have dinner like adults for a change, and then we swapped and took their daughter so they could have a nice dinner themselves. The four of us finished the night off after the kids went to sleep sitting on the balcony with a bottle of champagne, as we sailed out of Nassau.
