I saw Gretta's plates that Kyle posted in a previous thread
http://www.brothersofbriar.com/t22013-what-are-you-driving
and wondered if others had special (vanity) license plates.
A friend at work was from Manchester, England and wanted to honor
the Manchester United Football club with plates that said "MUFC" but he was denied by the state.
Since he is not, to the best of my knowledge, not a member of the BOB, he also asked a secretary for
a rubber, which actually meant an eraser.

I either don't have enough vanity or I don't want to be easily identified when I start my criminal career!

My license plate is my amateur radio call-sign...N8MME. I have had a lot of people try to make a word out of it, and then stop me and ask what it is supposed to say. Smile

Those aren't real plates on my truck. The Nevada DMV would never give those out. Image manipulated to protect the quasi-innocent.

Cool

I've always wanted one with random letters and numbers like that just to confuse people. Razz
Buckshot, remember a few years back when Michigan switched from 6 to 7 digit plates? At first they were had no space between the letters and numbers. Mine was AAO0038. That was nearly impossible to read accurately at a glance. I wish they'd have let me keep it.

...you're in luck, Kaplan, the standard-issue plates are just that, and--here's the kicker: they're cheaper than vanity plates. Now go confuse some folks! Laughing Smile

I can tell you all you ever want to know about vanity plates. Well, from the point of view of Illinois.
