That's a nice looker, but I have a question, are ALL Morta pipes Black? Is the wood a black wood like Macassar Ebony ?

No, they can be light brown through coal black, most of this is due to how long they have been in the bog, the pure black ones can be up to around 10,000 y/o. My Tom Richard is pure black, my Moretti has fringing of brown in it and was estimated at 5300 y/o I don't know about this one as yet as it was just ordered today.
