I'm about finished with my first bowl of FM's Cellar, in my Rad Davis Rhodesian, and I'm releaved to say that I think I'm really going to like it. At first I thought it was going to be too mild, but about mid bowl, I started really picking up the flavor of it.

I'm releaved because I just bought 250g Very Happy

Good stuff. I'm looking forward to understanding it better.

I thought the same and love heavy latakia English blends but found it nice in a very subtle way and also fresh after heavier blends. how did you get 250gr.? 2 - 100 and a 50? never saw one that large before.

That's right. (2) 100's and (1) 50. So far so good.

Brian, I have dedicated my Riccardo Santia ultimate corn cob pipe to this blend. Rarely do I like tobaccos with a casing, but this lightly cased blend works for me. cheers

I'm a fan of the FM line and finally picked up cellar but was real skeptical with the wood block gimmick. I was pleasantly surprised and was thoroughly enjoyed.

the MCC stave aged 35 is close, just minus the latakia. might be worth a shot. i really like FMC in the morning. also try MCC FMC 2000. to me it tastes like a nice virginia/aromatic. some people on the board insist it just tastes like a VA, but it definitely taste like an aro to me, just a nicer one.
