It's the time of year up here when we get a lot of sun! Basically the sun sets for a few hours, but it really doesn't get all that dark. Makes daytime sleeping a bit challenging at times:affraid:

Little to fear though if you enjoy reading those urban vampire novels.  Scary reading them in winter though.

Speaking of winter, it's the waning side of days darkening beginning today.  

Probably a mixed blessing up in AK, it'd be nice to get a little less light, but the extreme in six months is--no light at all.   Laughing   I'd probably go batsh*t crazy up there.  Love the idea of trees, cold and lack of people, but the wonky sun schedule...that'd do me in.

we had some very unseasonable heat. Given that houses up here are well insulated and have no air conditioning, 80+ made for some really poor sleep for me. Perks of working the nightshift. Some places hit the 100 degree mark Evil or Very Mad
