The stream froze and would not restart for me in the Honduras at 3:15. What I saw was classic stuff, and I will try again later! Thanks for the link...

Those pilots had some huge balls to fly over enemy territory with no armament. These were MEN.

Thanks for the video...should be mandatory watching for all Americans...see what the goal should be.

Tom, if your screen freezes click the re-load button, usually in the window of the browser. Sometimes it reloads to the point you were at, sometimes not. Just make a mental note of the elapsed time.

Very touching on many levels:

1) The pilot is 83 but seems to have lost no cognitive functioning. Capable witness and story-teller.
2) The humanity of these men. They cheerfully do very dangerous things, and at constant danger to themselves, they make sure it's done right.
3) The flying prowess of a Spitfire.

Classic. To a lot of the guys who fought in WW2, it was personal. They weren't warlike people; they just didn't like bullies, and Hitler was about as big as they come, bullywise. They knew he had to be stopped. Many of them didn't know that war is hell. But even after they found out what it's really like, they just did what they had to do. My Dad was one of them.

Awesome video! Thanks for posting it, RR.
