I really wish people would quit making picture/graph based information sources. I know why they do it, because people are easily distracted and don't like to read, but it comes off as huckster info and propaganda when there's actually halfway decent science involved.

Meh. That's why picture menus are replacing the written kind in restaurants. Just point and grunt, get food. Pretty simple.

Interesting read. Correlation, of course, does not equal causation. More research should be done.

Didn't you post one awhile back how the autism disease is diagnosed superfluously and often incorrectly? Allot of correlations can be made, but seems the diagnoses needs to be refined and regulated first. ADHD goes the same , in most cases I think ADHD is a discipline issue. Look at Tom Sawyer , he probably would have been diagnosed with it in todays times. I say there is a larger correlation to the nurture side, less patent activity in the kids life, both parents working. More time inside , grand parents don't live in the same house. Not saying that it is all incidents , but I feel it contributes to good part of the behavioral epidemic we're seeing.

That's a good point Ian, because I remember reading that stuff.

Part of the problem is misdiagnosis and standards not-quite-agreed-upon. Therefore, if it's still mysterious, the pitchforks and torches can stay in the barn unto specific notions of cause until there's some solidarity.

People enjoy freaking out for no reason about as much as they enjoy ignoring obvious problems. Probably because they are extremes subconsciously looking for truth somewhere in-between. Very human...fiery impatience and forced aloofness. I love you

Cool

Any time you're dealing with big-picture issues, you're necessarily having to use sloppy variables that are oftentimes poorly defined.

Such is life.

It's true. I'm also subject to my own yearning and insisting for instant results. 5) The path is sometimes unclear, and yields many options. 🤷 "Just keep walking, standing still don't get no one nowheres."
