The Pipe of Elhorn Empty
PostSubject: The Pipe of Elhorn   The Pipe of Elhorn EmptyTue Sep 03, 2013 10:55 am

haha a funny name i picture an old man sitting around a campfire enjoying his favorite smoke , while telling a bunch of young lads about the time he had to slay a dragon.

I made one similar to this a while back, but this time I used a piece of  amber acrylic to make a sort of "fancy" stem extension , I was hoping the amber would be brighter

oh and she does "sit"

Thanks Kirk!
yeah it's fun bending the stem all up crazy like that, the funny thing is the pipe wont "sit" until I get the bend just right and get the weight of the stem more forward and if you remove the stem the bowl wont sit, it falls over cause it is front heavy
and a pipe cleaner makes it to the bowl effortlessly

Harry, The bowl style and grain are awesome. The stem... not my style. For me it detracts from the fine work on the bowl but I'm sure others will really like it. Good job.Smile
