I really enjoyed working with this pipe, my only regret is that the pipe is finished, I love that it is a confident and sturdy take on the straight Billiard, a pipe well suited for the confident smoker who has no respect for compromise. I have left a fair sized portion of Plateaux on the bowls front base, the change in textural sensation when moving your fingers from the smooth sides to the bowl front base is very satisfying, it grants the holder a sense of bonding with the Briar, a very special bond will form between the owner and this pipe.

Pipe Specifications

Bowl Width: 36mm
Pipe Height: 58mm
Pipe Length: 168mm
Tobacco Chamber Width: 18mm
Tobacco Chamber Depth: 49mm
Weight: 69g

Another gorgeous pipe from the master craftsman at Briar Spirit Pipes.

Fine looking, very manly looking pipe.  Love the grain and the plateaux.  Stem is beautiful also.

Can't wait to get mine!

The shape, while uncommon, works astonishingly well with the grain. It's like a classic shape decided to go "freehand" just a tad, and it works. cheers

Nice job Kirk. I do like the knobby patch on the front heel of the bowl.

Great Birdseye on the bottom

Nice pipe there!  Interesting take on the bowl to shank transition. Is it an oval stem?
