| I think it's no big secret around here that I love beards. Like a lot, like a lot, a lot. Also, I'm single as well.
Tonight I found something that just might reinstate my faith in a floaty deity thingy out in space peeping down at us. Look what I found! Heaven on earth!
(Also, it might not be a big secret that I'm a giant smart ass.) |

This is definitely going under the "just for kicks and giggles" file. |

He's a leather bear. He doesn't play for my team. Besides, I already have a bear in my life whom I love dearly. |

| The Half Beard, known in some areas as a goatee or a face Mohawk, is where it's at.. Enough hair to show ya mean business, not so much that it makes ya look like ya are hiding something.
Besides it matches your do. |

Touting your own wares there PB? Yeah, that's nice, but I like the full face goatee, I think it's called an extended goatee. There's nothing nicer than a well groomed full beard though. There's quite a few good looking beards on this forum. Maybe I'll grow one myself... |

| Full face goatees are for Sissys afraid of razors. Everyone knows that a little maintained patch of hair is better than that crazy bush they call a beard.
And yes, you should grow one, it is all the rage these days. |

| You can really alter your appearance and the perceptions of others by your beard. The current avatar an example. Presently, my beard is cropped close, looks well groomed, and I present the illusion of being a professional of some sort. When that photo was shot, I was retired. Well, I came out of retirement and kind of cleaned my act up a bit. |

| Too funny. I wore a beard for years and on a whim shaved it all off (it's been a few years now). My wife was thrilled, said I didn't look like a frumpled old man anymore, made me look younger (need all the help I can get). Now women go for beards, figures _________________ These are horrible times and all sorts of horrible people are prospering, but we must never let this disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to annoy and hinder them at every turn.

Point well taken, and partially why it is trimmed. It's amazing the mess a full beard can create and the time it takes to really take care of it; much like long hair. Unless you decide to go Unibomber or beyond. |

I think she was just glad not being married to a scruffy old dude anymore. Me scruffy (2007, I don't keep a lot of photos of myself laying around): Me not scruffy (Christmas 2011): _________________ These are horrible times and all sorts of horrible people are prospering, but we must never let this disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to annoy and hinder them at every turn.
