I couldn't decide what to call this pipe.  I have to say this is the most beautiful piece of briar I have ever worked with.  The birdseye is stunning and the flame grain on the bowl is pretty amazing too.

Italian Briar
German Cumberland stem

Length: 6.88"
Height: 1.31"
Width: 2.44"
Weight: 74 grams

Oh I wouldn't even compare my pipes to Scotties, she's a genuine Master Crafts-person, I'm on my way to being a fair pipe maker, but I appreciate the kind sentiment all the same. I love you

Not true...while Scotties is an outstanding pipe carver, so are you Mr. Kirk Fitzgerald...stop selling yourself short...we all know you make gorgeous pipes!  I know I have 2 of them.

That is an awesome pipe there Scotties! You keep turning out stuff like this and I may have to break down and come out of retirement so I can get one for myself!

Super nice score there PozzSka

Thank you all for the kind words. I have two more blocks that I am planning on making saucers out of...eventually. I have quite a few pipes to make (thank you all for that as well) before I get back to making what I want.

Scottie, that's just a gorgeous pipe there. Really like the grain in that and with a Cumberland stem what more could you ask for.
