Happy Halloween Everyone,

We had 1 person show up for Halloween night, so I tossed in a pouch of half and half and sent him on his way, he was almost off the porch when I remembered I forgot to give him a box of matches oh well

At our house a group of 14 yo's - friends of my daughter - are having a costume party. We have had a flood of people at the door.

Kid at door: Hey - that is a great priest's costume.
Me: Thanks

Just had one of the BEST smokes I can recall while handing out candy with my mother at her house tonight. Lit up a bowl of OGS in one of my Edward's bent bulldogs and smoked it while seeing all the ghosts and goblins ! Got several compliments on it's aroma and my mother thought it "...added a nice fall note" to the evening. She's 88, will be 89 next month, and LOOOOVES to sit on the porch and see all the "...little ones" and give each one just one piece of candy. She's from Scotland you understand and is a very thrifty" ( can you say CHEAP) lady Twisted Evil Twisted Evil  It was a nice cool fall evening so we all had a good time. Twisted Evil

I live next door and take care of her. This allows her to live in her house somewhat independently. I do most of the housework and shopping etc. Circumstances in my life have worked out this way and things always happen for a reason regardless of what we may think !! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

We had a few kids this year. I had a group of 5 kids come up first, and only 1 of 5 actually said "thank you", so I called her back and gave her extra candy for being polite Laughing

My daughters decided not to go out tonight because they did a trunk or treat thing last night that seemed to tide them over. So, we had a family Wii bowling night with Papa John's pizza. It was a nice time of just hanging out.

I had a horrible Halloween!

It started out okay, I dressed up as a pirate wench for the daycare Halloween party.

The kids loved it and we were having a good time, but the littlest of my wee charges must have had too much sugar, because they bit me. Eh, toddlers are toddlers. I really didn't think anything of it. I sent all the kids home and started getting ready for our annual Stitch'nBitch Halloween Party (knitters, we're cool yo!). That's when I started feeling a little funny. A cold sweat and chills. I was a little upset because I really wanted to go to this party and was just thinking to myself that now was not the time to get sick! That's when the convulsions on the bathroom floor started. It was the craziest thing. I had no clue what was going on! When the shaking finally subsided I stood up and looked in the mirror. And here's where things start getting hazy. I remember leaving the house, I think I made it to the party. It was an alcohol free party, but man I can't really remember what happened...

I finally made it home and man did I feel like hell! Do you see this rash??? I've never seen anything like it. My daughter came home from work and found me passed out on the floor. She said something about a vaccine.

I woke up on the bathroom floor the next morning, the rash seems to be clearing up though and I have the darnedest craving for a rare steak...

Thanks! Best bruising I've done yet. My daughter wanted done up too, so she went as an undead prom queen the next night. Smile We went trick or treating with some friends and took my boys and their little girl. I was a little nervous they'd be scared of her, they loved her! She would chase them with her zombie walk and they would scream and laugh and run. Great fun!
