I pointed this out to WarlockBob, last night, we just happened to have all the major schools of pipe design represented in that photo.

English- Dunhill Tanshell
Italian- Savinelli Trevi
Danish 1-Nording
Danish 2- Peter Heeschen
American- Scott Thile

Along with some Gaslight and some ODF (pictured in the jar) it was a very enjoyable evening.

Just wish I could travel that distance Jesse but, this ole back of mine won't let me no more.
Really need to find some pipe folk near by, most of these folk around here think I have a duck call hanging out of my mouth.

Least they don't hate you "polluting the air" or whatever they think is going on here in California Rolling Eyes

Jesse & Bob, I'd want to visit some day. We do have friends that are in Dallas (I know, nowhere close), but that's about it. If time and $$ weren't an issue, of course...

Well, enjoy the Gaslight and the lovely pipes, bros!

mejoshee, we'd love to have you sometime!!

Actually, in a year or so, I could very well be quite a bit closer to you. I've got an opportunity to work for Cisco out in SF. If I move, I'll definitely hit you up!

Yes, in Texas, we do get some funny looks sometimes, but all in all no one really cares that we are smoking our pipes. We're pretty lucky in that respect. Smile

Those are some fine looking pipes there. Man, if I am ever in your area of Texas I'll be sure to pop in.

You know, the thing that I enjoy most about people's pipe and tobacco pics are the random things that appear in the peripheral areas of the photos.

Were you guys rewiring a lamp that night? Laughing

Actually Drums, I was building a set of cigar box speakers. Razz

I found someone on Etsy selling a powered pair, with 2 1/2" speakers and a 10w driver for 225 bucks a pair. I'm building mine with 4" x 6" speakers and a 100w powered mini amp, and I'm out about 3 hours worth of time and 60 bucks or so. Using the stuff I saw online, it may cost me 35 bucks MAX.

Ridiculous

Well Drums, ask and ye shall receive. Razz

This is just a picture of one, but they're both the same box. :)I'm waiting for my powered mini amp to come in, but they play just fine off of a regular stereo for the time being! Not the prettiest, but I built them for me(and to prove a point), so I'm more than happy with them.

drums, I'm a big fan of pretty much all the Fuentes. I'd have to say all the Hemingways are highest on my list though.
