Hello from Maryland.

I've been enjoying pipes for a few years now, but am just beginning to become more involved with it.  I am looking forward to all that this forum has to offer; there is quite a bit of info to go through and knowledge to gather.  Most importantly, I'm quite pleased to see that PAD and TAD are a 'normal' affliction.   5)  I was beginning to think I may have a problem.... lol.

Cheers

Ryan

I think Growley's right, although I too am afflicted with it too. Sometimes I think I'm doing ok until someone posts pics of their current TAD/PAD and then it triggers a fit, then my wife gets upset... ... anyway, welcome to Bobs Brother, good to meet you.

Welcome and PAD and TAD aren't problems unless your like me and run out of cash before your done. And it seems I'm never done. I can't really afford brand new pipes much but, the estate market keeps me busy enough. Bought 6 in the last 2 months if ya don't count cobs. 5)
Needless to say I had to sell a couple to get them. And TAD, well that's another story.
Of course not all of us are pipe addicts like me but, we have a few here so you'll fit right in.  Wink

Welcome. I have a similar problem to that of Cartaphilus'. I have PAD and TAD, but little money! It is a crying shame.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I'm hoping I can get a little advice; I can post this in the appropriate sub forum if that is preferred...not certain if this is an acceptable place for this little tangent.

I have been to this point an aro person, but I am trying to expand my borders. Current favorites are McClelland Fragrant Matured Cake and Gatlinburlier Pistachio Peak as well as McClelland Holiday Cheer.

I just picked up some PS bulls eye flake that I am starting to enjoy. I can definitely pick up the VaPer end of things, as well as the sweetness from the Cavendish. I am looking for something right along the lines of this, but a tad sweeter. I like the subtle complexity of this particular tobacco, but would like it a bit heavier on all accounts if that makes sense? Any advice would be much appreciated.

On a side note, just picked up an unsmoked Comoy's Collector Deluxe 19 for $65 shipped. Happy guy. I'm thinking of reserving for the above style of tobacco.

Thoughts?

Thanks
