Pulled a jar of two year old Newminster #403 Superior Rounds from the cellar today. Got a deal on another one pound bag of this blend recently, so thought it was time to see how this one is aging after two years.

The #403, once given a chance to age 2-3 years, is a really good smoke -- IMO,better than the Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bulls Eye Flake (which is also nice, but also needs a few years in the cellar) ... I think it's the Dark Fired Kentucky in the center of the Newminster's coin (the PS LBF uses cavendish) that makes the difference.

Good stuff and a great value for the $$.

One from earlier... Zeal Champagne, a hand blend from a UK tobacconist, McGahey, from my home town (Exeter). They've been around since the beginning of time. The blend as described by McGahey, 'A brown Cavendish that has been painstakingly blended and aged, then double-flavoured with a fine wine extract. (Danish)'
Smoked in my Growley..!
