| It has been 10+ years since I have smoked an aromatic. Cherry tobacco started my journey into pipes back in 1998. Can you suggest a decent cherry baccy and other fruity aromatics to try again |

| Send me a PM with you address. It will be a few weeks since I'm in the middle of a move and the bulk of my tobacco is already at where I will be staying.
But I have selection of "fruity" aros I can send you samples of. Not sure if I have a strong cherry though. |

| I've tried a lot of cherry blends and I didn't like any of them. One of my dear old friends used to love cherry blends. When he passed away I inherited many of his pipes. I tried to save one back for a cherry tobacco since he was so fond of cherry flavored everything, but I just couldn't find one I liked. I am told that Drew Estate Heirloom Cherry is quite good, aka not cloying or too goopy, but I haven't had any yet. might be a good place to start. You could always smoke the G&H cherry twists! http://www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/by-maker/gawith-hoggarth/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=4019 |

| Gawith Hoggarth Top Black Cherry is the only cherry blend I have ever found to be palatable. |

| Drew Estate Heirloom Cherry is the only cherry tobacco I've found that I enjoy. Not goopy at all, and more importantly the flavor is not overdone. You can taste the cherry but also the underlying tobacco. It is one of the few aromatic tobaccos I buy. |

| I'm not much into cherry blends, but ones I have liked are GH Top Black Cherry, Sutliff's St. George's Blend, and Dutch Masters Cherry Cavendish. I really thought the last one would be just awful, but it was pretty decent for a cherry blend. |
