Thought I'd see what the bro's write with on a daily basis! Today it's my father's Scheafer PFM that he used back in the '60s. I had it all gone over about two years ago and it's a neat pen to use for daily writing! It uses the "Snorkel" filling system that Scheafer developed back in the '50s a neat tube that comes out of the back of the nib, thru the feed that aloys one to fill it with two pumps of the piston without getting the nib wet !! It holds quite a bit of ink and is a nice fat pen, though not as fat as a 149 it fills the hand well and makes writing a fun thing!!

It has the inlaid nib as is used on the Imperial line of pens only it is an 18k nib as opposed to the imperials plated nib.
Let's see what your writing with today !! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Not a very good picture. I normally use the Pelikan green stripe all the time. But I had a hankering for something a bit different. And I have some cartridges to use up.

So I have been using the Visconti Van Gogh on the reloading desk. It has a lot of blue that is hard to pick up.

The special edition mandarin yellow Bexley looks a like the 1926 Parker Duofold Mandarin Yellow, Big Red style pen. This one has a stub nib that you might be able to see. I have been doing bills and writing notes with it.

The PFM III is nice. I have a burgundy one. Today, however, I have a Pelikan 400, a Parker 51(aerometric) and Namiki Falcon inked.

I just inked this one to use for he next week. It's a 1950 Mont Blank 216 in Coral made in their Danish factory which was closed in the mid '50s. It's one of the few button fillers made mainly in this factory and the Coral color at that time was only made in that factory as well. It has a wonderfully soft #6 Oblique F nib that were somewhat the norm from the Danish factory as well. It's now filled with Aurora Blue ink one of the nicest solid blues available Twisted Evil Pics are from the dealer I got it from about 10 years ago Twisted Evil

I use a simple Pilot V-5 pen, blue or black:

I am afraid that if I invest any substantial amount of money in an expensive fountain pen, I will end up losing it. What a Face
