Greetings from Greece!

I salute the fellow pipe smokers,i am Sidhroun-Stavros from Greece aka "Sid" in foreign pipe smoking forums.I found Brothers of Briar by a link posted in other pipe smoking forum and i decided to enlist. My english are not good because i am self-taught so i can't write a lot,i also can't describe via sophisticated technical terms exactly what i am doing [for example when i make a pipe restoration] but i will try to do my best.
I have a blog with an english index on the left to help the visitors,i don't sell pipes or i don't do jobs for money,i am just a pipe smoking hobbyist.

Greetings and salutations Sid. You may remember me from another site we were on a little while back.

You do fantastic restorations and your pipes are beautiful. Plus you have very interesting stories from Greece. Hope this latest government issue you Greeks are going through isn't too hard on you. The news we get here in the US makes it look pretty dire!

Anyway, you'll fit in just fine here on BoB. Lots of very friendly folks to discuss all things pipes.

Thank you Gentlemen for your kindly comments!   Of course some nick names-avatars are familiar from other forums and this pleases me. I have a lot of interesting stories to say especially for the ancient Greece but i don't know if they are acceptable here.
I have to read the majority of the forum to understand "how the system works" and this will take some time.Soon or latter when i can post photos/links you will hear more from me.

Thank you a lot Gentlemen for the warm Welcoming! I have to wait some days till i post a link and a photo,for sure if you want you will here from me stories from ancient Greece and as you already know i haven't study those at school. Unfortunately year by year the modern Greek kids learn less the history of their country because that's the way "the system" wants.
When the 7 days limit expires i will participate in more threads and yes i am very happy seeing familiar names-avatars.
