...or a big-assed rack. Start saving your loose change now. I thought this one was adequate at one time. Silly me. I'd use drawers, but the pipes bunch up, plus I like them to breathe a bit. And where the hell are my cobs?

What's the problem? Just buy more racks !! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil I've got a three tiered like you have as well as a two tiered and a couple of 6 and 8 pipe racks and one 24 round and STILL have pipes scatter'd across my desk and some in a drawer !! But then with over 100 pipes now, and living the singular life as I do, I just smoke and clean 'em !! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Having all my pipes on racks throughout the house became a problem. Wife didn't like them on every flat surface availble in the house and I hated trying to keep them dusted. I opted for a better solution for my pipes.  Smile

I know how you feel about the dusting thing and that's a real nice box, but, I'd need about ten of those boxes to put all my pipes in and the drawers aren't a uniform size. Now if they were all like the bottom ones and about 4 foot wide and deep then we'd be on to something. Of course then, the boxes would cost me more then the pipes probably did. 5)

Great stuff pictured here. Always interesting to see what others use for display/storage.

I'd post pics myself but don't have a digital camera. Plus my set-up doesn't compare to some of yours.

Cheers,

RR

If it does what you want it to do then that's all that matters and that is comparison enough. Who knows you way of doing things may apeal to me and the others more than ours appeals to us. BTW didn't I see you write somewhere "No pictures it doesn't exist" ? lol! lol! lol!

Sorry Rande I couldn't resist.

Ron,
A piece of furniture you might find interesting would be what are referred to as an Architectural print cabinet. I've an architect friend who has an old wooden one that he uses for his almost 300 pipes. The old wooden ones came in units of four drawers about 36"w x 30" d x 3" tall. They are not air tight so air does circulate and they keep 'em dust free !!! I see them occasionally at salvage/thrift shops and I'm sure you can find some on e-prey ! Twisted Evil

Yes sir, that's exactly what I want but, there not cheap even used and as far as auction sites the shipping would kill me. Someday I'll run across some....maybe......if I'm lucky for the right price. Wink

Here's some new ones at a pretty reasonable cost relative to the total value of what's to be stored in them! Twisted Evil
