Great shape, classic, simple, and now a bit festive. I like it.

Beautiful job! I actually just recently lost out on a bid for a green stained Polinski poker. Almost ruined my day... until I stumbled across an estate Punto Oro 514KS I now get to restore! I tried to access your site to have a gander at your wares, but the link doesn't work. Has the address changed? I'd love to see some of your other beauties!

Thank you for the kind words and yes I have been hacked once again I guess the folks in Africa, China or where ever love to hack me I do have all my pipes on Facebook under Briar pipes if you care to wonder through that site. Congrats on your score with the 514KS I know it is a good smoker.

So...what stain did you use. My attempts at green in the past were done with green drawing ink...and it worked really well.

I used green leather dye, I have noticed it stays green I used a green dye back in the day don't remember the name but it would turn a little yellowish around the rim after a few smokes with the leather dye it never turns. I didn't even think about drawing ink may have to try that one day.

Like Feibings? Pretty classic pipe dye.

I'll bet Peterson's wishes they used it! Their green pipes are well known for going yellow.
