The Frankenpipe Mark I Empty
PostSubject: The Frankenpipe Mark I   The Frankenpipe Mark I EmptyWed Nov 18, 2015 5:04 pm

Not sure if this belongs here under DIY or under Pipe Techniques as a repair, so Mods, feel free to relocate.

Thought I'd post my latest project, the goal of which was to make a functioning pipe from 3 or more pieces of old broken ones. I started with this unlikely looking pile of parts:

The Frankenpipe Mark I 20151112

And ended up with this:

The Frankenpipe Mark I 20151111

If you'd like to read through the build step by step, you'll find it on my blog HERE

Thanks for looking!

Thanks, Al. It should (finally) give me something to do with all the random, left-over bowls and stems I've gathered from estate lots Very Happy

Thanks much. It was a great outlet for my cheap, Scottish ancestry - I got a functional pipe from scrap material.

cheers cheers
