Hi folks,

Steve Laug of Reborn Pipes and I tag-teamed the revival of a pipe in VERY rough shape, just to prove it could be done. In the process, the pipe crossed Canada twice, travelling between my place in Kitchener, ON and Steve's in Vancouver, BC and came out the other end ready for years of service.

Thanks. It was a real challenge - burned-out bowl, hacked stem "repair", not to mention filthy dirty when I got it. Our shared theory on restorations is that even the worst pipes can be restored if the desire is there to see the job through.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for other test subjects Wink
